NEWS
The following is an appeal for help for long time volunteer and advocate of the BC sheep industry, Cynthia Tupholme.
Cynthia raised her family in the Gulf Islands in British Columbia, Canada and spent many years mentoring children in the BC 4H program and in horticulture with students in educational food gardens, which lead to many volunteer hours helping out various organizations across the province.
Cynthia was diagnosed with, Multiple Myeloma, bone cancer, only 18 months ago. She has moved to the BC main land and undergone extensive treatment by cancer practitioners there, including the Head of the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit, of Vancouver General Hospital, where she underwent Stem Cell Transplants and several Chemotherapy regimes.
Unfortunately, the conventional cancer treatment didn't stop this aggressive cancer for long and her Oncologist, of the Fraser Valley Cancer clinic, has said that they can offer no further treatment that would give any chance of success, advising, that she has only a few months before the cancer will cause organ failure and death.
But Cynthia is a fighter and is not about to give up. She has searched for other plausible alternatives to help her fight this disease and believes she will have that fighting chance if she is able to attend The Budwig Cancer Center, in Spain, which has had proven and documented success with Cynthia`s type of cancer.
Dr. Budwig started work with cancer in the 1950's, was nominated for the Nobel prize, 7 times and has had thousands of successes since then. The treatment costs approx. $15,000. plus air fare to Spain and food for two. It is a requirement that someone accompany Cynthia on her trip.
Cynthia has set up a "Go Fund Me" account in an effort to raise the necessary funds to get her to Spain, as soon as possible. There is no time to waste, Cynthia is fighting for her life. Please help Cynthia and her family get her to Spain by sharing this appeal and contributing if you are able!

Meanwhile, Cynthia is doing everything she can to slow the disease down from home. For more information about Cynthia, her life and her battle with cancer check out Cynthia's Blog, "The Messy Shepherdess", at https://messyshepherdess.wordpress.com/
As well as, being the Website Manager for several farms and sheep organizations such as BC Sheep Federation & Inter Island Sheep Breeders Association; Cynthia is also an accomplished Artist, with work in several countries around the world. If you would like to commission her for a personalized representation of your favourite animal or farm scene, you can contact her email at cyntht@hotmail.com or through her website at, "Cyn's Artwork & Design", http://cynsartworks.weebly.com/

ART MAKES A GREAT PERSONALIZED GIFT!
Graphite Pencil Art is the main focus of my work currently, although I do the occasional acrylic painting.
I love to draw wildlife, beloved pets, livestock, farmsteads & landscapes, flowers & gardens.
From a photo or combination of photos, I draw original graphite pencil drawings.
I use only high quality, professional grade supplies and keep the drawing acid free throughout the process. Once the final draft has been approved and is ready for shipping, the completed drawing is sprayed with a sealant for protection.
COMMISSIONS WELCOME!
